Being nervous before a job interview is completely normal.
We all get nervous before we have to present ourselves to a hiring manager or recruiter. Most of the time, once we are in the interview our nerves settle and we become more comfortable. We are confident that we are qualified and really want the job. But what happens when that doesn’t happen?
It probably stems from a lack of self confidence, which can set you back in an interview. Hiring managers can pick up on the fact that you are nervous and lack confidence in yourself, making them not want to move you forward in the hiring process.
