Can TikTok really find me a job?
It might! If you’ve followed us here then you know we tell our members to be job shoppers NOT job seekers. A job shopper is someone who is actively researching, choosing, and applying to jobs with a purpose. A job seeker is someone who just throws themself as any possible opportunity.
How does TikTok play into all of this? Well, lets say you are scrolling through TikTok and see a company that sparks your interest. Maybe its a product you like, or the company’s mission, or even their workplace culture. You then decide to Google search them to learn more about the company. During your research you find that they are hiring and apply to a job opening.
Doesn’t this sound like the perfect connection story for a cover letter? Because it is! Finding a job that you have a passion for and connection to makes all the difference in a successful career. Here’s how you can increase your chances of finding a potential employer on your TikTok feed.

5 Reasons To Make SurveyJunkie Your Next Side Hustle
There are several reasons why someone might choose to have a side hustle as an online survey taker for SurveyJunkie. Here are five possible reasons:
1. Flexibility: Online survey taking allows for flexibility in terms of working hours. As a survey taker, you can typically choose when and where you want to complete surveys. This flexibility is especially beneficial for individuals who have other commitments such as a full-time job, studies, or family responsibilities.
2. Extra Income: One of the primary motivations for having a side hustle is to earn additional income. SurveyJunkie offers compensation to survey takers for completing surveys. While the income may vary depending on factors like survey length and complexity, it can be a convenient way to supplement your regular income or save up for specific goals.
3. Low Entry Barrier: Starting as an online survey taker usually has a low barrier to entry. SurveyJunkie, for example, allows individuals to sign up easily and start taking surveys without requiring specialized skills or experience. This accessibility makes it an attractive option for people looking to earn money without needing extensive training or qualifications.
4. Work from Anywhere: Online survey taking provides the opportunity to work from anywhere with an internet connection. Whether you prefer to work from the comfort of your home, a coffee shop, or while traveling, as long as you have access to the internet, you can take surveys and earn money. This flexibility can be particularly appealing for digital nomads or individuals seeking location-independent work.
5. Variety and Engagement: Participating in online surveys exposes you to a range of topics and provides an opportunity to share your opinions. This can be interesting and engaging for individuals who enjoy expressing their thoughts, providing feedback, or learning about different subjects. It can also serve as a way to stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and new products or services.
Are you sabotaging your job search? Job seekers tend to isolate themselves in their job search. They are all alone in the process which can feel frustrating when they aren’t seeing results. You don’t have to do it alone, and we recommend that you don’t. The 3 Cs (courses, coaching, and community) can make all the difference in not feeling isolated and actually seeing results in your job search:

This is how you express yourself without using words!
We’ve talked about some different types of communication skills here before, specifically verbal and written skills. We know the importance of having good communication skills and how it impacts you and your work. Being able to communicate effectively though emails, messages, and in a real conversation prevents confusion among co-workers. There is another type of communication though: non-verbal communication.
Non-verbal communication is how you express yourself without using words. It can include anything from facial expressions to the way you are dressed all the way to how loud you are speaking. Non-verbal communication adds another layer of depth to a message and can create a certain feeling or attitude.
Non-verbal communication goes two ways. You need to understand how to use facial expressions, body gestures, and the tone of your voice to convey the right message to whoever you are communicating with. On the other side you need to be able to understand other peoples expressions, gestures, and tones too.
Non-verbal communication plays a huge role in any conversation, so it’s important you know how to use and understand it effectively.
