The answer to yesterday’s trivia question: Java!

Did you get it right?

It should be noted that all four programming languages can be used to develop mobile apps, Java is just one of the most popular ones.

There will probably come a point in your career where you are going to want to ask for a raise or a promotion. Most of the time raises/promotions aren’t impromptu (even though that would be really nice). This means you have to be able to position and prepare yourself, so when you do ask for one, it goes the way you want it to.

Stop Overthinking will teach you how to relieve stress, declutter your mind, and live a worry-free life. The perfect way to end your long week and decompress for the weekend!

If you’re submitting your resume through a job board or a company website, there’s a high chance it’s being run though an ATS.

An ATS or Applicant Tracking System is a program companies use to rank resumes during the hiring process. The higher your resume is ranked, the higher chance that yours will be seen by an actual person.

So how do you make it past the ATS? We have some tips to help you out!

Talking about salary doesn’t have to be awkward!

There will come a point in your interview process where you will have to think about what salary to ask for. For many of us, the thought of asking someone for a certain amount of money can feel weird, but it doesn’t need to be.

It’s important for you to be prepared. You’ll want to do some research beforehand to understand what other people are being paid for this role. You don’t want to ruin your chance of getting the job by asking for too much or too little.

Here are some things to know before you talk about salary
