If you are a young professional at a new job, then you have probably realized it takes time to understand how a company’s culture works. Time spent observing how meetings are conducted, learning when to speak or stay quiet, and knowing when and how to approach your manager are all valuable bits of information about how your company works.
What’s so important about understanding all of this stuff then? Well you’ve probably also realized that you don’t feel one hundred percent confident in sharing your thoughts and ideas at work just yet. You are new to the working world, so why would anyone respect your ideas, you feel too young. It takes time building the confidence you need to feel ready to voice your valuable knowledge.
